  1. Active Leads: These are the individual contacts you incorporate into your email campaigns. Each unique lead counts as one active lead, regardless of how many campaigns they're part of. For instance, if you add [email protected] to three different campaigns, it still counts as just one active lead.

  2. Email Credits: These represent the number of emails you dispatch to your leads. Each email sent to a lead consumes one email credit. For example, if you have a campaign with 10 leads and two email sequences, you'll use a total of 20 email credits (10 for the first sequence and 10 for the second).


Now, regarding the monthly reset:

  • Active Leads: The count of active leads remains fixed according to your plan and does not reset monthly. If you need to manage more leads, you'll have to consider upgrading your Smartlead plan.

  • Email Credits: Unlike active leads, email credits do reset. They renew on the date of your monthly billing cycle.

In summary, while your active lead capacity is constant and based on your chosen plan, your email credits refresh each month, providing ongoing flexibility for your email campaigns.
