Know all your Keyboard shortcuts In Master Inbox

In Smartlead’s master inbox, you can use keyboard shortcuts to take various actions against a lead. From assigning a lead to blocking it, you can do it all by just pressing keys on your keyboard. 
This feature not only enhances productivity but also frees up valuable time for other important tasks.

  • To use the keyboard shortcuts, log in to the Smartlead app and Click on “Master Inbox” from the main menu on the left of the screen. 

  • It will open to the master inbox, which will appear like the screenshot below.


  • In Smartlead’s master inbox, you can use keyboard shortcuts to take various actions against a lead. From assigning a lead to blocking it, you can do it all by just pressing keys on your keyboard.

  • To see the available keyboard shortcuts, click on the three dots “More” option pointed out in the screenshot below.

You will get 6 options by clicking on “More”:

  • Replace Lead

  • Push to Subsequence

  • Resume Lead

  • Mark as block

  • Mark as unread

  • Keyboard Shortcuts

Click on “Keyboard Shortcuts”  to see available shortcut options on Smartlead’s master inbox. 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts available on Smartlead’s master inbox. 


Actions Shortcut keys

  • Automatically mark a lead as OOO O+L

  • To pause/un-pause a lead P+L

  • To Block a lead B+L

  • Replace Lead R+L

  • Assign Categories K+L

  • Add/Update Deal D+L

  • Push Lead to Campaign C+L

  • Unread Email U+L

  • Add new Note A+N

  • Add new Task A+T

  • To implement any of the above actions with shortcuts, click on any lead from the inbox or other options in the menu. 

  • Next, press the keys written against the action you want to take. 

For example, I have pressed the keys O+ L to automatically mark a lead as OOO.

There will be a pop-up box asking you to confirm your choice. In my case, the pop-up box asked, “Do you want to ignore this reply? If yes, it won’t be counted as part of your reply rate metrics.

To go ahead with the action, I will click on “Ignore reply,” and it’s done. This lead will be marked as OOO. 

Similarly, you can click on a lead and press the shortcut keys for the particular action. 

Here’s another example. 

To block a lead, press B and L at the same time. You will see a pop-up box as shown below. You can fill it as per your requirements and the lead will be blocked. 

This is how you can use keyboard shortcuts to take various actions against a lead.
