What are Threaded Replies and how does it work?

All the email exchanges with a particular lead are available in an email thread in Smartlead’s master inbox. 

To view threaded replies, log in to Smartlead with your credentials. 

  • Select “Master Inbox” from the primary menu on the left side of your screen.

  • Upon clicking “Master Inbox,” you'll be directed to the default Inbox tab. Here, all responses from your email campaigns are organized and readily accessible.

  • Refer to the accompanying screenshot for guidance:

  • Click on the lead whose email conversation you want to see in a thread. 

  • Next, go to the left arrow symbol, as shown in the below image. 

  • A dialog box to create an email will appear on the screen following your action.

  • Click on the three dots at the bottom left of the dialog box to see the entire conversation in a thread, as shown in the above image.

  • Following this action, the entire email conversation will be displayed as a thread. 

How to Thread a Sent Email?

In case the lead hasn’t replied to an email, the user can still go ahead and create a thread to their sent message. 

  • To thread a sent email, go to the Master Inbox. 

  • Click on the “Sent” tab on the sidebar of the master inbox. 

  • Next, click on the reply “arrow” symbol to one of your own messages. 

Your emails will be sent in the same thread for the lead.
