SmartServers offer dedicated infrastructure optimized for deliverability and control, unlike rotating IP systems where other users' behaviors can impact your deliverability. SmartServers ensure greater reliability and performance by isolating your sending environment.
Types of IPs in Email Sending
MX IP: Associated with the mailbox.
FPOC IP: The First Point of Connection IP is linked to the sending infrastructure and performs the initial checks by receiving mailboxes. SmartServers provide FPOC IPs to establish a unique infrastructure fingerprint and build its reputation, enhancing deliverability and control.
SmartServer IPs are rigorously vetted against IP blacklists to ensure they are optimized for high deliverability.
SmartServers and Mailbox Usage
SmartServers support the use of existing mailboxes, whether procured from third-party vendors or SmartSenders, or any other mailbox services. This flexibility ensures seamless integration and scalability.
Server Associations
SmartServers are not directly associated with mailboxes. Instead, they can be allocated to specific campaigns or clients. This allocation model enables efficient organization of server usage based on sending volume.
Recommended Server Usage and Best Practices
Monthly Sending Limits
Recommended sending volume per server: 80,000 - 100,000 emails.
Warming Up Servers
(Feature coming soon as a native tool):
Make sure that the Server mailing is ramped up slowly. Warm up (coming soon to SmartServers) should be started with 5000 emails to be processed per server and ramped up by 5000 every day till about 80-100k so ~16 days from the time of starting.
Bounce Rate Limits
Maintain a bounce rate of 1-1.5% per server.
Campaign and Client Usage
Servers can support multiple campaigns if the cumulative sending volume stays within the recommended limits.
For optimal deliverability and reputation management, it is advised to allocate servers on a per-client basis. This isolates external factors that might affect server reputation, ensuring better performance.
Recommendations for Low-Volume Senders
Low-volume senders can still benefit significantly from SmartServers. By using SmartServers to establish their infrastructure's fingerprint, they can:
Enhance reputation and deliverability.
Gradually scale sending volumes without restrictions.
