How To Bulk Update Warmup For Mailboxes?

Learn how you can bulk update warmup for your mailboxes connected to Smartlead in just a few clicks.

Managing email warmup settings is crucial for maintaining email deliverability and ensuring smooth campaign performance. In Smartlead, you can easily bulk update warmup configurations for multiple email accounts simultaneously.

This guide walks you through the process of implementing this feature and provides key recommendations for optimal results.

Steps To Bulk Update Warmup for Mailboxes

1. Log in to Smartlead

Start by logging into your Smartlead account.

2. Navigate to the Email Accounts Tab

Once logged in, go to the Email Accounts tab. This is where all your connected email accounts are listed.

3. Select Email Accounts

Choose the email accounts for which you want to update the warmup settings. You can select multiple accounts as needed.

4. Click on the Bulk Update Button

After selecting the desired email accounts, click on the Bulk Update button located at the top-right corner of the screen. This will open a new configuration window.

5. Configure Warmup Settings

In the configuration window, you can set the desired warmup parameters for all selected accounts:

a. Enable Warmup Status

Check the Bulk Update Warmup Status box to enable or modify the warmup settings for your selected accounts.

b. Set Total Daily Emails

Specify the total number of warmup emails to be sent daily. Recommendation: Start with 25–50 emails per day for new accounts and gradually increase this number.

c. Configure Daily Ramp-Up

Enable the Daily Ramp-Up option to automatically increase the number of warmup emails sent each day. For example:

  • Day 1: 15 emails

  • Day 2: 20 emails (if the ramp-up is set to 5)

  • Day 3: 25 emails, and so on.

Note: Daily ramp-up is ideal for fresh domains but may not be necessary for domains already warmed up or transitioning from another warmup engine.

d. Add Custom Identifier Tags

Assign custom tags to your warmup emails to help track and manage them efficiently.

e. Set Reply Rate

Define the percentage of emails that should receive replies. Recommendation: Keep this natural at around 20–30%. Avoid exceeding 30% unless you have advanced expertise.

f. Enable Auto-Adjust Warmup/Sending Ratio

Activate this feature to let Smartlead automatically adjust warmup ratios based on activity, further optimizing deliverability.

6. Save Changes

Once you’ve configured all settings, save your changes. Smartlead will now apply these settings to the selected email accounts.
